Noteworthy Opportunities Beyond Yale

Rare Book School at University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA)

The Rare Book School (RBS) “provides continuing-education opportunities for students from all disciplines and skill levels, to study the history of written, printed, and digital materials, with leading scholars and professionals in the field.”  Many of the courses offered by RBS are directly relevant to the study of books, printing and print culture, as well as manuscripts studies, of the early modern period, including a recent addition to the curriculum.

A variety of RBS Scholarships and Fellowships support attendance at the annual RBS summer session, as well as other courses offered throughout the year, including at times at Yale.
